| I think the idea could be even better conveyed with a bit wider view to encompass more of the open space. |

| The blues are a little strong for my liking, find my eye continually being drawn back toward the sky and hill when I want to concentrate more on the foreground, but otherwise I really like the shot. It definitely conveys desolation and I like the harsh light and strong saturation of the fence and branches. |

| I like the colors here. I think this is one of those pictures that needs to be looked at for a while to be appreciated, though (which I did and I do appreciate it). |

| Barbed wire is a nice visual word. Dried dead plants also. Sand is nice too. I wonder if you might have been able to distill the sense of desolation down by removing some elements, reframing, or focusing down? I am not sure. I would just like to see some of the dilution taken out so the image was stronger. |
