 Found a butterfly on a bush in my yard, first time I've seen one in my area.

It can be difficult to start here at DPC, sometimes it seems like nobody has anything good to say about what you enter. You have some good comments on this photo, listen to them and do another challenge.
It should have been higher than 4.9

Would've been a nice shot if you bumped the colors a bit. A tighter crop would also have helped, the OOF flower in the background doesn't add anything to the picture.

Nice surprise, I love the hint of green on the left. This image could benefit from some post-processing, a bump in color saturation and sharpening would make it stunning.

Everything in the photo is blurry except for a leaf on the far right. Really takes away from the photo.

Too bad the head of the butterfly isn´t in focus, my eye is drawn there and not towards the wings so the choice of DOF isn´t really hitting the spot with me, I think it should have been on the head.
