 I saw this little guy outside in the tree and didn't realize it was a juvenile until the mother came by with food. It was great to watch them. I don't know if they had a nest in that tree or a nearby tree. I've never seen a juvenile hummer even though there are hummers everywhere here. This was certainly unexpected on a Monday morning.

I adjusted the levels to bring the midtones up and increased the contrast. I cropped this from a larger shot.

Last minute bump!
Really like the photo - the leaves up front are the reason this is not a 10 but a 9 image. The find is great, focus and sharpness just right. Good luck!

Edit: FYI - The bump did get in on time, the comment didn't!

Lovely shot...though leaf spoils it a bit it still adds to the fact that it was a hidden moment. A border would be lovely thoug.

very nice. too bad about the leaf in front cutting into the bird's space, but what a great moment to be able to capture as well as you did.

Precious. A bit soft in focus, though it's amazing you captured a moment when the hummingbird isn't fluttering a million miles an hour.

the purple halo is something that could b taken out if it were advanced editing. thats the main problem i can pick out in this one.
