This is amazing. The lighting and color is fantastic. The shadows help make this image.

Good one Lesley, you're always in the mix! You are an artist and a magician with d&b, drawing our attention just where you want it. Did you put the the coke can there? I guess not, but it's brilliant the way it leads you to the red roof!

Wonderful use of shadow to frame your young subjects and environment. Beatifully done. One of the best of the challenge.

beutiful pic, however shadows do not help tell the story. too much empty space to the left. perhaps a thighter crop in landscape to include kids/wheelbarrow with their shadow to the right.

Outstanding work. Love the tones, composition and warmth of the shot. Nicely done!

I feel you may of over done the shadowing around the edges but the image it self is very nice I like it.

This is a marvellous documentary photograph; the right side of frame suffers from a feeling of to much manipulation - that brown curved line just doesn't seem to be borne out by the rest of the light, but the use of leading lines and the balance of the composition almost make that forgiveable. Very nice work.

A good mark although you could have done with including all of the children's shadow.

I hope they are *playing* with the cart and not working - if that is the case, then this would fit better in the desolation challenge.
Anyway, the shadows have run away with the image here. There are too many of them, and some (the boys) are not fully shown. The can (?) is also a bit distracting.

I think this might be a little heavy on the burn tool. Some of the shadows don't look natural.

Beautifully done only one critic I would of moved that can or whatever it is out of it but others perfect in all aspects 9

Nice shadows and dust. The shadows seem to frame the photo nicely. Good eye contact.

Now I understand why the shadows were important on the similar pictures.
