Alright, so same idea for the picture I took of my oldest a couple of years ago for the "Mirrors" challenge. This time, I just used my youngest son who is pretty close to the age my oldest was in the first photo. My oldest son probably would've busted the mirror had he sat on it. :-)Didn't have access to the rectangular mirror so I used an oval one instead and processed it slightly differently. I changed the position of the child as in my other photo some folks said it looked like he was falling out of the picture.

I hope it does okay as I'm pretty proud of it and the improvements I think I've made.

lovely--muted colors, perspective, lighting, sharp reflection, and a little cherub! i don't like the leaf blocking out the reflection of the tree, but everything else is wonderful.

Beautiful shot. Great tones, beautiful focus and just laid out well. I will searchout the original on this one. I would love to have a shot of my child like this. Well done and good luck.

Edit - This should be the blue in my opinion. I think its a marked improvement on the original and beyond that just an awesome shot. Frame this shot and keep it forever and ever. Not just bumping up but bumping up 2. You get my only 10.

This is absolutely stunning. I don't normally go for baby shots, but there's something about this one that is just too good to tear my eyes away from. The editing is superb - as is the composition. Technically, it's outstanding. I can't find anything wrong with it or that I would improve. 10
(I just did some research and took a look at the original. Jen, this is MAJOR improvement!)

Back to comment...This is beautiful. Perfect really..I wouldn't change a thing. Great light & coloring. Good balance of dark behind the baby and the darkness of the leaves. I'll be shocked if you don't ribbon. Bumped you to a 10.
