Great pic....

Wooho! It's my highest scored photo now :-) Many thanks. I was a bit worried about being "cliche" because it's an often photographed subject in Berlin, but since most of you live in the US I thought I would be on the safe side ;-)

It's a bit strange to see that most of you voted with 6 but I almost only got very positive comments. So special thanks to pnicholls for the constructive criticism. I also would have liked a little more of the shades on the right side. Now it looks a bit open. But I wanted the shaft going straight to the bottom right corner more than showing more on the right side.
A different angle was not possible because of the surroundings. There were inhibition gates around because cunstruction men wanted to build a stage or something. The security guards didn't let me through.

Anyway. Thanks again for all your positive feedback. Much appreciated :-)

I like this. Fantastic stuff all around - rule of thirds, shadows, perspective, you name it. Great stuff.

Very good composition, very good. I like how busy this is yet orderly and not composed in a mundane fashion.

What an interesting structure, some people may tell you that you should have placed the center of the concentric circles at one ot the thirds points, but IMO the concentric circles draw the viewer in all by themselves. Nice picture.

Really cool pic!!!! - even the thumbnail caught my eye (and you know that those thumbnails sometimes just do any justice for a photo). I really like the blue vs the grey - I like it all - GREAT WORK!!! (reminds of a hot-air balloon)

excellent use of leading lines and the rule of thirds :) I love nice architecture shots like this... if *I* had been doing this shot, I would have had someone change the white to red for more impact :)) = 7 - jmsetzler

This is so abstract and pretty. Wouldn't it be wonderful if those sections were different colors too? I like this a lot. 9- KDJohnson

like the converging lines, perhaps might be even stronger if you moved the 'circle' up or down a bit, rather than having it in the middle ?

Oh wow. This is such an awesome shot. Have you ever seen Edward Weston's (at least I think that's who it was) Circus Tent? Well anyways, this shot blows that one away. Aweswome.

I would like to have seen just the tips of the vertical elements on the right side, as my eyes want to wander off the photo. Otherwise, a great shot. One of my favorites this week.
