A great find indeed, i would have been uber excited to see this and ba able to snap a pic or two. I have never seen a swan carry their young, though I haven't seen many swans but I bet it's a sight to see. Well done and very cute.

This is an incredible shot - and I like it with the head cut off! It's exactly the way it needs to be, in my opinion. Awesome capture and congrats on the top 5!!!

Karen, you're on a roll! Congratulations to you on this top 5 shot - whoooohhoooo!! I didn't see this at all during voting, but would've rated it high. This is definately the first ever swan baby I've seen taking a ride on mom (or dad?). Great subject!

I know the focus of your image is the goosling under the wings of the parent. Good capture on that, but I would have composed in more a portrait orientation to include the parents head also. Looks kinda incomplete as is.

This is wonderful. The rhythm of the water and the detail in the feathers are superb. I would have prefered that this be taken in portrait rather than landscape so as not to cut off the mother's head - otherwise fantastic! 10

Back to bump you up. This shot has excellent focus and a beautiful subject that perfectly meets the challenge. Great light & color. I think I'd like to see Moms head but maybe if I did, I'd agree with your crop. Bumping to 8. Nice job.
