This is a combination of two of my previous entries. One was my current personal best, the other is my first DQ.

This is not easy. LOL. I figured out that the first time. What really makes it a booger is trying to get both the wrench and the photo reflected in the wrench into the Dof window. Also, I have to try to pose and hold the photo while operating the camera.

Setup:
Wrench in a vice clamp in front of toolbox.
On camera flash bounced off a silver reflector to the right of the image.
Slave flash pointed at photo that is reflected in the wrench.

Hey there from the Critique Club

I recognized this one right out of the gate. Nice work combining two of your previous challenges and coming back with another nice capture. Congrats on your second highest score to date.

Camera Work/Technical: Terrific focus on the wrench and the reflection of your model. I do find the depth of field leaving me desiring to see just a little more of what's back there. Great colors and perfect skin tones.

Lighting: Very nice. Everything is evenly lit with adequate highlights and shadows to give this one a very nice contrast.

Composition/Content: I prefer the composition that you achieved in your Untitled entry. I think including a bit more of the background would add more of the red that contrasts very nicely with the blue of the model's swimsuit.

My Opinion: Nice work meeting the challenge, and meeting it in excess. You did a great job combining to challenges into yet a new one. I agree with the score, as well as the fact that you placed somewhere between the two you combined. It is way better than the original DQ, but not quite as nice as the Untitled.

Ahh...now this is definitely an improvement. The background really makes this image.

The tool has some marks/imperfections on it ... e.g. would be better reflective surface with a new one.

Are you sure this was done in Adcanced editing? Hehehehehe. Mo betta than the first one I think. Although it's a close match ;) I would have cloned out or even polished this even more to remove some specks but hey, any score above the DQ is better right? Great job Leroy!

This... looks... strangely familiar.
Stop polishing your tool and get back to work! ;-)
I'm requesting validation...

Better than the original Leroy.
Still could have cleaned up some of the speculars on the right side of the wrench.
Background in this shot is much better than the white in the original, and adds needed interest without being overwhelming.
Good job!.

Hehe, the ultimate revenge. I'll bet this one doesn't get DQ'd. ;-) Nice job, mang!

Ironically, your original would be valid here, but combining your original idea with the composition of your top scoring entry in the past is a brilliant idea! Should be your highest score!

It's clear and sharp and the colours are ok but this is just so uninterested and predictable to me.

I see you enhanced and improved over the original with a sexy model! LOL
I'd had wished for the improved cheese version actually, but this would do :p
