Bought these bells just for a picture. Decided to do a series. This is one of the shots to be included. Wanted to create the feeling of exhaustion after a long night dancing.

Split channels, took the green did curves and contrast to get this look. Softness and grain intentional.

SOFT AND DRAMATIC AND I LOVE IT XOX

Great idea and you know I love the feet dancing image! I think this could be improved by a touch more light on the bells and perhaps by having the bells just a touch nearer to the right hand corner rather than centred horizontally. Love the texture in the cloth.

I really like the texture of the fabric, but I think the bells should be higher in the frame. They seem to be resting along the bottom now and it bugs me.
I really like your other pic that goes with this. It'll make a nice series.

Tone and composition with the softness presented here make this an excellent photograph. There is more to a good image then just pointing and shooting, and you have captured what it takes in this shot! 9 -danny

Very nice. I wish I could make out the objects in thelower left better - a little more light on this side maybe.

I love the tones here; very comfortable and inviting. Neg space seems to add mystery to the shot, and communicates that there is more to this world than just the bells. 9

Interesting picture. I love your choice of B&W here, and the way you've really captured the "after the dance" feel of the picture! Awesome creativity!! :) 9

Quite obviously one of the few images in the challenge with a tie between the negative space and the point of the image. Also one of the few images to use a negative space that wasn't a flat single color. Excellent shot. 10

Frisca's entry? I really like this picture, it has a softness about it that's very attractive. It makes me want to touch that fabric, it looks like such soft cotton. The beadwork is nice. Actually, the negative space is wonderful and really makes this picture. One of my favourites this challenge. ~10

Just out of interest, what colour was the dress? If it was a nice vibrant colour, perhaps it would have been better to stay in colour?

However, I love this idea and shot as it is.

very nice. Great contrast and lighting on the fabric. Nice subject-- something that has had a life, or some great use before the photo.
