Considered this for entry into a challenge, but couldn't do what I wanted in basic editing so decided to enter something else. I'm really pleased with how this turned out. I wanted something very moody and mysterious - dark, ominous, surreal...

(Yeah, I know Rikki - surprise surprise - LOL!)

Definitely a wonderful liquidity to the image. It could be one of those fantasy posters. Add a unicorn and you got a wonderfully marketable product. (I know this because I sell prints for a living, along with frames for those prints.)

I really like the look of this one. I just need to learn how to do it myself.

Now this is my kind of photo ...

Well, first impression: I think you've hit moody and mysterious right on!

I love the low key, it accentuates the water nicely -- and it makes me want to explore the darker areas to see what what kind of visual treats await. The hues are very nice as well, they add nicely to the surreal feeling. I'm also impressed with the long exposure with the aperture opened up that much! Great ribbons on the water too!

I like the lack of detail on the periphery - it makes staring at the falls that much more interesting, a very surreal experience with the falls "floating" there.

I was going to add "Trivial: lower right - just right of center, the rock, it breaks up the flow (no pun intended) of the water for me." but on second thought, that rock really adds something when staring at the falls - it compartmentalizes the image nicely.

I wonder if upping the brightness of the water might give a somewhat "mistier" feeling? Maybe / maybe not.

Overall: I like! Like I said - *this* is my kind of photo!
