This is a candid shot of a lady that captured my eye on the riverwalk because she reminded me so much of my mom who I lost a little over 2 years ago. I don't know how much photographic merit the dpc voters will think this photo has, but I just love it for emotional reasons.

Sandy, this is beautiful. You really captured her. You are so good at candid photography that doesn't look candid.

Edit to add: AND you advanced in the MS Tourney. WOO HOO!

It's a wonderful portrait (that one you know already) of the very beautiful lady. I gave it a 10 and I think you were totally robbed this time. Better luck next time.

Color/exposure/contrast: 1.5/2 Grat palette, good contrast, little bit desturated @ medium luminance. The title would go for a mor optimistic color saturation
Focus/sharpness: 2/2 Perfect
Idea/creativity: 2/2 Not hard to obtain but creative though
Theme: 2/2 Fits
Framing/appeal: 1/2 Good framing but I am not appealed :S
TOTAL:8.5

A great shot, very nice lighting and skin tones. I love the play on the clichè given the facial expression and the dark background. Well done on a great capture and good luck with the next challenge!
