 Taken in the quiet moments before the wedding, the bride pauses to ponder the changes soon to take place in her life.

Editting included layering the duplicated image 3 times and adjudsting the outcome on each and blending them. Brightness/Contrast, Curves and Shadow/Highlight were used on the layers. Converted to BW in the Channel Mixer. USM, Noise reduction, and slight cloning to remove glare and blind cords. Image resized, canvas resized, Diffuse Glow applied and saved for web.

A beautiful wedding dress always makes a nice subject. Missing the window acting as a frame of the image. Nice soft feel.

post prossessing in this is nice but also very appearent around eadges which should be sharp but shows up as a huge outline... the tones are nice but the burning and dogging are also not well blended and very appearent.

nice over all composition also not teribly fitting to the details of framing in a window the window isn't so core to you image.

The leading lines of the dress (draped towards the owner) work well. I wish she was a bit sharper.

I think the subject (person not dress) could have had more light. The dress is beautiful

I like the image, I like the B&W feel, but IMO it does not meet the challenge.

The challenge description specifically says to frame the subject with a window. There is a window in the background, but I don't feel it actually frames the subject.

This is lovely, but DNMC so I think you may get slammed by the voters ... the window here is not framing anything.

This has a window in it but the subject isn't framed by the window. I like the idea, the silhouette and the light, but unfortunately, this doesnn't quite meet the criteria of the challenge.
