For the last 6 weeks I have spent almost every spare minute remodeling my home. This was more fun than painting. Cropped with no other editing camera was set to plus 1.5 exposure.

Hey Folks, I am stunned, never expected to get a ribbon with this shot. A big thanks to everyone that voted. The wife and I needed some time together so we took a long weekend, just got back this afternoon and of course the first thing I had to do was check in and see were my photo placed, I had hoped to be in the top 10 with this one and it was a pleasant surprise to see a second place ribbon.
Congrats to Connie with her very first place shot and to Alecia with her ribbon.
Have a Fun Day

Definitely a ribbon winner here! This is my absolute favorite in this challenge. Clever and original, not to mention technically good!

This is one of the better takes on this challenge. I like the texture of the paint can on the left and the brush itself. I hope you didn't get paint on your cam. :) Nice blue sky is ok, but looking up at a half-painted anything may have been better. 7

This is by far the most creative entry of all. I like the contrast of colors, the paint dripping from the brush, the off-centeredness. Overall it is excellent

Nice one, but perhaps a brighter more contrasting back ground color? Well done, Good try =)

Good idea and nicely executed. I like the originality of this photo a lot. I also like the coloring of the photo.

I love the effect of this shot. The colours are unusual, the focus crisp and the viewpoint is excellent. The position of the aperture is a bit off (top to bottom) but it's a neat idea, well executed. [9]

Clever shot, I like the idea. Overall the picture doesn't evoke much emotion in me, but it certainly meets the challenge. A different color of paint (brighter) might have made this more visually appealing to simple folk like me who like a lot of color. :) The bright lighting on the handle of the paint brush helps me feel that the outside is out there and adds to the illusion that I'm in the paint can.The color of the sky/ceiling is a bit drab.

This is my favorite perspective for this challenge, and you have done it very well. 8.

great idea. the simplicity works well here, I think. I also like that the lighter color is not totally blown out everywhere.

Great idea! Looks risky though... I'd worry about getting paint all over the camera! Good texture and contrast. A favorite.

Excellent concept, expertly executed... A solid 10. Congrats

Very clever idea. Focus, composition and colors are perfect. A little bright in the bottom right corner and the paintbrush handle but otherwise a great shot. Good luck.

One of my favorite things about this is the blue sky. I can just picture the paint can in the grass outside the house on a clear day, and the satisfaction of seeing the freshly painted trim. (if it's interior paint and a blue ceiling, never mind ;))
