Yes...the return of my Yashica twin lense. The not-so-willing model is my dad. I finally got him to do this for me and I got like 4 shots before he quit :-p So, anyway, as it so happens, my dad is a photographer too so this fits I guess.
Editing included a lot of selective contrast/brightness considering the editing software I'm stuck with at the moment doesn't do dodge and burn. There was cropping and sepia coloring and sharpening and blurring and that's about it. Not much else to say I guess.

Post challenge: oh, wow! This did WAAY better than I thought it would, haha. Thanks everyone for the great comments and votes! I'm actually quite relieved no one mention that that's not the proper way to hold a twin lense camera while photoraphing. You're actually supposed to look at the screen thingy that pops out of the top ;-)

This has a great b & w film look for being digital. I think no one noticed the improper use of the camera in the photo because the photo is beautiful, powerful, awesome.

Anna, this was one of the best shots in the challenge, in my little opinion. I feel the placing on the site next door was more fitting, The tonal range you have captured here is close to perfect. The exposure is super crisp and the composition is very well-done! I've looked this one over many times, and I can't find anything to correct. Very nice work!

Beautifully done sepia. It was close but yours could just as easily got the ribbon over the B&W in 3rd. Both are incredible and technically superior images.

I love this one. I didn't vote in this challenge, so I didn't see this photo before. Very good one. It reminds me of the style of the photographer Anton Corbijn.

Congratulations on your 4th place! Great job.

Oh so many camera entries ... sigh ... oh so much more depth to this image. You've taken a subject that more than qualifies for "old" on it's own and turned it into a story. Exquisite focus and highlighting. This picture and one other, the camera with the old photo album, are my favorites.

Good tones and subject light is a bit harsh.

Best photo I've seen so far in this challenge, wouldn't mind seeing this one in the top 10. Love the expression, the contrast, and the feeling behind it. Good job.

Nicely done. The tonalities are good and the duotone works although a bit too green for my taste. 7

I'm not sure if the same image has ever won in both challenges. You have a good chance here, of doing that.
