First time in a long time that I had an image in my mind for the challenge and put it together set-up style! The yo-yo is held in place with a suction cup on the far side hence the tight crop. Hardly any PP. Slight crop to get rid of the prop, USM, a touch of levels, desated the red a touch as Ian's shirt was VERY red, resized and a final touch of USM.

Thanks to my boy Ian for posin'!

Hope ya like it! Gatorguy, you ain't gotta chance!
TC

Thanks guys, what a rush! Set up shots to follow!

Congrats on your ribbon with such a fine capture! At first, I like many others thought this was an action shot. Nice execution of a well-thought-out idea.

well executed...only thing I get distracted by is the background...if this was shot with a different background it would have rated higher imho

Would have liked to have seen the guy in background slightly more in focus. But, great shot.

Really Really like this one ! Nice Job.

Nice idea. Crop touching edge is a little too tight, I can guess that it is necessary for this "magic." More DOF would be better in my opinion, if you could keep the background from becoming distracting.

WOW - Wondering - did you "fake" this shot or is it the real thing?Voting you a 7.

There is something to the very right of the yo-yo that shows it's being held up. Is there??? He he he... I might be wrong. Either or, I like the shot, but wouldve liked to see a tad more spin or movement on the yo-yo. The DOF is outstanding. It's truly a good shot nonetheless.

Good job capturing the moment, even having the logo straight. I like the depth of field too. The yo-yo seems a little too close to the edge though.
