Wow, thanks everyone... an unexpected result! There were so many great shots in this challenge, and I'm much more fond of many of my other entries that didn't do so well!

| Actually, it's a damselfly, but this is a nice study - good sharpness and nice lighting. I know the water srops are attractive, but I think I'd crop some of the empty space on the right to let the insect occupy more of the shot. |

| I personally love pictures of dragonflies and this one is an excellent one. Great colors and in focus too! Nothing worse than an out of focus macro. The water drops on the leaf really add to this shot. Very nice. |

| I've seen this critter before, and I've always wondered whether it's really a dragonfly because of how it holds its wings when at rest -this is sort of like misidentifying a moth as a butterfly... But that's a digression. The blue is brilliant in this photo - though it gets a bit diluted by the light background. Still, a nice shot! |

| What a lovely capture with the water and dragonfly so clear and the background so nicely out of focus. Only minor problem for me is that one very dark and large vertically hanging leaf which competes a little with the foreground for me but still a wonderful image. |
