| 8 - Very nice. Good rich coloring that complements and 'lifts' the darkness. Just looks like it needs a little more balance somewhere, maybe the horizon more centered and more sky (if you had it obviously), else maybe more water, not sure. A fraction more definition in the birds too, but likely difficult, retaining the detail in the sky as you have. |

| Should win, or at least top ten. Beautiful and simple. The lines going or coming from one point outside the frame on the right makes this also quite dynamic. Also the placement of the dividing line between the sky and the water is perfect, it divides the frame into unequal frame adding more to the tension between the sky and the water. 10. |

| Beautiful scene, I love the shade of orange. The pelican makes a perfect silhouette. The pelican is very far away, it might have also worked to crop this shot a little tighter so that he is more easily distinguishable. Overall very lovely. |

| Love the reds in the sky and the reflections. The silhouette of the two birds adds a lot to the picture. I really love how the large one is looking towards the small one and visa versa. They seem to be intent on each other and oblivious to the beautiful surrounding and the photographer. Only distraction I see is the slightly blown area in the top mid left area. Otherwise well composed and beautifully done. Good luck |

| Nice shot, love everything about it except for the composition, I am not really liking the huge space in you give the foreground, I have a feeling I would have liked this better if it were smaller and you had tilted this up and shown more of the sky. Anyway, awesome shot in all other regards than the composition so I gave it an 8. Hope you do well in the challenge. |
