Easy leveling in just a few seconds. Level once at the head and you are done. I like this much more than having to level the tripod first, then leveling the head. It's pretty finnicky stuff.
Dual bubble levels still leaves a tiny margin for error. Only the Gitzo mounting plate used on the G1278M has a superior system to the Velbon within the same weight constraints, but they don't sell that plate separately where I live. It's also heavier.
