This turned into a DPC "Team Glasgow" event

Started working with Kev Robertson after the students went home, I had the use of the theatre which, obviously, can be blacked out and thought I'd come up with something. (thats planning for ya!)

Eventually settled on painting this curve on the back of the safety iron. I liked the angle of the shot and the curve worked well. Kev had the idea to include the bucket of light which really helped the shot.

Then, Mark Lovell, another DPC'r turned up with his girlfried and she tried posing for the shot which involved staying still for 52 seconds. Her lighter hair (well just having hair) and being generally easier on the eye than Kev meant she made the final shot.

Coloured using the selective colour adjustment layer to get that bright blueish light but thats all for the editing apart from resize.

2 hours start to finish, great fun.

Steve

It was just a plain old torch and a steady hand

The hand and pail seem a bit blurry but overall it's very well done.

One of the more nicely executed pictures of this type I've seen. The lighting and perspective are spot on in my eyes.

Wait a minute... that looks familiar!

Shame the bucket couldn't have been sharper, apart from that my only real nitpick is the halp around the model's body.

Nice shot. Hope you do well.

Another variation of Fantasia done quite well, though the bucket looks overly false. 7
