| I think this one is absolutely beautiful, too. My second fave, I think. I actually like the lack of shadows because it seems like 'every' sand dune we see has them. This is different and I like it just the way it is. |

| You are right about some sun and the resultant showdows would have given a greater feeling of depth. Consider this though, it quite likely (unless you really tweaked the settings), would have blown out on the tops of the dunes. The cloud layer was thin enough to allow some light, and to my eye it was sufficient to give it enough depth to do the trick. You should be very proud of this shot. Looks awesome! |
