you know what kills me? just how few people really understand what is involved in capturing an image such as this. it might not be everyone's cup of tea, but all the same, shots like this are not accidents. sigh...i guess i'll just shut up and sit back and enjoy it a bit more.

This is one of only 3 10's I gave out for this challenge, and a new favorite. Great shot full of energy.

Brilliant moment. I am less sure about the tone. But I love the light.

A faster shutter speed would have captured this moment much better.

What a great action shot. I like the blue-green color you chose to use. The lines the water makes it great.

Marvellous drama - just too much detail missing? that heavy selenium tone works well for it though.

Brilliant explosion. Not only a marvellous study of the water and the light, but it also tells us something interesting about the duck ... so much better than one of those tiresome super-detail bird studies, which are surely interesting only to ornithologists. Tones are perfect for the situation, too. 7.
