did not fully like the image (mainly because of the scene)but am submitting for tips on duo tones as it is my first go and had fun which it is all about :)

will be trying duo-tones again because of this challenge!

changed to duo-tones in photoshop after changing to monochrome with channel mixer, then adjusted with highlight / shadow as well as brightness contrast.
re-sized and saved for web.

This is a lovely farmland being enveloped by the mist....(great title too) Your choice to use the branches of the trees in the foreground to suggest depth works very well on the left but not the right... the horizon gives the illusion of being tilted and by cropping out the branches on the right, this illusion would be lessened

Duotone effect is nice. For me, the bush on the left dominates the composition of the photo too much and the bit of the bush on the right seems unnecessary. For me, it is distracting. If it was your intent to have the horizon sloping off to the right so much, with this wide view, then so be it. If it were me, I'd try to level up the horizon a bit.
