No-one's gonna believe I'm a bloke and didn't see the nipple on the first look... It did let you down I think! Still, photographically the image is fantastic, brilliantly lit, perfectly sharp and IMO would work in colour or black and white equally well. I think she went a bit overboard on the make-up tho. She doesn't look quite real to me. But don't let that detract from the reality - a deserved top ten and sod the 'soft porn' crew, as photographers this is a brilliant shot! (Ok she's well endowed yes :-P)

| Just reading all the nipple comments, I had to add mine... I didn't even notice it until about my 3rd go over the photo! My first thought was, "Wow, I love the shape of her face, cute nose." Second was, "I love the outfit, wish I could wear something like that!". It was as I looked at the detail of the outfit and how it supported her to give such perfect shaping that I noticed it, so personally *I* don't think it was a huge distraction. Then again, I'm not male.... ;) |

| This is probably the BEST shot in this challenge from a technical standpoint. I am surprised that it finished 7 spots out of a ribbon. GREAT work!!! It is a blue in my mind. |

wow relly nice one for this challenge!
nice lighting, nice pose and nice model!
only the background is a bit distracting imo, i think a pure white or black background would have been a better choice |

| Popping out, Daphney. So is this fashion or pin up? This shot is beautifully executed, awesome focus on her eyes, yet somehow I get the feeling that isn't what most folks are going to notice first. I'm going to bump this up, after a second look. It is a technically sound shot and amazing job with basic editing. |

Very nice, great colors. Beautiful model and outfit. But something doesn't quite jibe with me right.
I think it's two factors.
a) Hide areola. She's extremely well endowed but it almost becomes a distracting element. Minimize them being the biggest draw. Sure, present them...but present her as a whole.
b)something is slightly off for me regarding the face and lips. I am pin-pointing it down to a little ridge on the upper noise. It distracts from the perfection of her face. Not really a flaw but it creates a slightly off angle. I think her lips being in a narrow pursed position make for a thin feel to her feature but her face is not narrow. Makes me feel like something is off on the perspective. . You can see a slight line from the nose to the lips. Furthers this narrow facial feature feel. (Not sure if you can see what I am describing.) It's very very minor. But it makes me notice it all. I think a little PS editing can compensate. Also, I don't like the lavender makeup under her eyebrows. It adds a color only seen there and it clashes with the rest of the chosen color palette.
That said, excellent take. I was very critical but it's because you're shot is quite up there and needs the very finest detail to push your photography to that pinnacle.

| This image fits quite well with the challenge. I like the pose, good choice of outfit for this type of shot (even if she is popping out of it a bit!), and she seems very comfortable with the shot. The only thing I might think of to improve the shot would be to add a hair light or a high fill light to give some definition and detail to her hair and face. |

| beautiful model, and not a bad shot. Just not much draws me to it (besides the model obviously). Just seems overall a little bland. Good makeup. Just seems a bit forced, and centered. |

| THIS is a problem. LOL...Ok, I see the idea here was to model longerie. Sorry, I am not up on how to spell that, so for this critique I will just say sexy wear. In using a real live actual model for this shot, it is a risky venture. The model and the clothes all have to balance each other out in order to sell the photo. Speaking on the model's stance alone, the pose is very good. A flaw in most model shots though is that they tend to look more porn in expression then alluring when the the mouth is open just a tad. A closed mouth in this shot would have worked better. The eye make up is also to severe. Less is more in this type of shot and with beautiful blue eyes. She does show a nice amount of neck though, which is difficult to do with this pose. As for the outfit itself, WHO is going to look at it when a nipple is showing? LOL...In real fashion photography this would have been retouched not to show. For basic editing, I would have reshot this and taped her bossum down if needed in that area so she could still make this pose and have the garment look as it if fits properly. It's the mystery of this type of fashion style that sells or is more pleasing then when that mystery is taken away. It almost is as if the outfit doesn't fit her correctly, or this was done for Playboy rather than Victoria Secret. I would have preferred the Victoria Secret route myself. Other than that, the background is nice and has little noise or distraction to the model, and the colors on this model are nice. Blue rather than red would have been a better choice though. Her eyes would have really popped. But that make up and the nipple just really distract. I still gave it a decent score for the potential it could have had. |

This one is propably going to be liked by many (male) voters.
There are good things about it and bad things.
Photographicly it's very good, nice lighting and all but fashion vice it's not good and I must say that her eyebrows are horrible. I don't like the nipple showing either. But since this is a photography challenge not a styling challenge I will give it a nice score. |
