I like your choice to use vanity as your sin. Greed is what leads to vanity yes, and this photo is cropped well. Better than if you were to show the whole person . Cute.

I agree this is one of your best photos. Great idea for the challenge and as a standalone image. I love the cropping here and for some strange reason I like how each corner has something else going on in it. It's like they are also dressed up for the occasion trying to stand out. Just great little details through out and the editing is really good.

This is perfect! Your post processing. . .which may have been a little heavy on the neat image in normal circumstances, works beautifully with what you are trying to say with this image. This is my favorite so far. Her expression is dead-on! Oh. . .and if that's your daughter. . .I hope she "uglies up" some before she becomes a teenager . . for your sake :) (just kidding!!!!). She is beautiful! And a natural in front of the camera! 10

an excellent photo.. the model's expression really gives meaning to the title - I like the way the photo is both crisp and soft at the same time.

Feels like either too much Neat Image (how could a young girl's soft/smooth skin need NI anyway?) or maybe the camera wasn't in focus. Her eyes look like they may have been sharp, so maybe it's just very shallow DOF. But her nose, mouth, chin, cheeks all feel "strangly blurred" and the mole actually looks like motion blur which I don't understand because it looks like you had a lot of light.

Anyway, my point is... if this is the result of post processing, then I'm willing to bet that the original is much more compelling than this. Young kids don't need much post processing to look beautiful. :-)

Beautiful photo but I am concerned about the appropriateness for the challenge. (Now this is simply my own opinion.) Are you entering it under pride? Somehow, though thought provoking, one wonders who
has the pride, the child or the adult taking the picture.
