 This is the side of the Riverwalk Hilton Hotel in San Antonio.

The inspiration for it came from my good friend, another San Antonio dpc'er, Phantom EWO, who took a shot like this a long time ago. Even tho abstract is not my thing, I loved his photo like this and it stuck in my mind. As soon as I saw we were doing abstract, I wanted to try it (after getting the go-ahead to copy his work from Don himself :) [Thanks Don!]

It kind of reminds me of those Escher photos where you see totally different things when you look at them different ways. Since abstract is not my kind of photography, I'm not sure if this is even close to being what people are looking for, but I like it. . .so. . . . .here goes.

Wow,
I read your description after I studied the photo. The image I had of it "flipped" to another view of in my mind's eye after reading what it was. Cool !! Really is Escher-esc .

This reminds me of those art drawings were you can't tell if the stairs are going up or down. Very nice. 10

This is an amazing abstract photo. There is : wonderful DOF; interesting lines and angels; and dramatic lighting in this image which makes it stand out from the other photos. Teriffic night shot! Good Luck!!!!!!

Very good abstract photograph, I really like the repeating pattern of this. My only small gripe is that I would like to see the vertical lines be veritcal.

This is a very interesting photograph. Almost an optical illusion that I can't seem to put the angle together. Great use of existing lighting for a night shot. This is excellent!! 10
