Challenge: Your Shadow II (Advanced Editing IV)
Collection: My favorites
Camera: Nikon Coolpix 7900
Location: NY
Date: Feb 2, 2006
Date Uploaded: Feb 2, 2006

Hung a shower curtain from the ceiling, placed a desk lamp behind it. Camera on timer so I could run behind the curtain and get into position. Adjusted brightness, contrast and saturation to make it look like sunlight outside. Cloned out a few little wrinkles that I hadn't gotten with the iron.

You rule DPC with the Nikon 7900. Great creativity on this shot as well. My only nitpic would be the "oval" sun.

I gave you a 10 in the challenge for this one but didnt have time to comment as I was traveling. Really creative yet simple shot. Great idea to use the butterfly curtain.

intellectually, I think this is corny, but viscerally I find it quite affecting. I think it's because there's a remarkable illusion going on. It seems real somehow even though it's obviously not. 8.

Very nice, however it could be better by moving the light source behind the model so it doesn't show in the picture.

Very, very cool! Awesome idea. Very clever. Nice, solid composition. Very pleasing to look at. I like how your light source serves to look like a setting/rising sun in the image. Just very cool, I like this shot. Great job!

Clever. Personally I'd have the advanced edit option to try to do something about the light source, but nice image all the same.
