Wish I had the time to thank each & every one of you for the flattering comments and picking this as a favorite.
A ribbon-winning submission, or top 5/10/20 without moving someone enough to choose this as a favorite, means less than 100th place (or 21st as it is) with this many favorites. I am flattered.
Thank you all!

Terrific shot, and what a saleable stock image! The clouds and harsh directional light are wonderful.

This is one of my favourite images in this challenge. Brilliant composition, and for once the use of moderately stark and dramatic post-processing is justified. The effect is a little reminiscent of one of those heroic posters much loved by the propagandists of the old Soviet Union - hope that doesn't offend; they were often masterpieces of graphic design. It's a beautiful work. 10.

love the tones and crisp lines. I would love to see this cropped along the top of the mirror horizontally. it will undate the photo by not allowing you to know what year of car it is since it is a newer style mirror. and it will make the shot feel longer and feel like the dogs face is pointing you through the picture. . .i think. lol. nice shot!

Looks like a Brad P, out the window at 60mph shot. Nice.

I see so many dog pictures and most of them are a boring subject. But, I think you've captured the true nature of the beast here! I don't care for the glare on the window and may have been able to reduce in post processing; however, you did retain some detail here which is a good thing. I also like your use of textures in the image and I find the overall composition very good! I also am not a big black and white fan, but I do like the image! 10

That's hilarious, B&W is a good choice, too bad the window is so messed up, if you could see his/her body through the glass it would be awesome, 6 for effort.

There is an effect here that I cannot put my finger on ... great image, great POV, great dog.

I like the look of this shot. The glare on the window is unfortunate.

Nice shot, very clean and clear, love the dog. Highlights on the car are slightly distracting, though.

I like the composition and the tones/lighting very much. It's a shame about the dirt or scratches or whatever it is on the car's window - slightly distracting from what is otherwise a great photo.

Great picture, would have cleaned the windown before taking the pic ... it is really grubby :)

This is great. I can see this in an art magazine or coffee table book. Really well done! Nice use of black and white - I think it's the only way to go with this image. Wonderful contrast. 10
