The colors could be a bit more vibrant; that said, were there not so many other GREAT shots in this challenge, this would easily be a "10."

I like this shot..... pelicans are such ancient looking birds - the background is reminiscient of old color photographs

Wonderful timing! If only your DOF had been a bit more shallow - a more blurred background would help the pelican to "pop". 8
