 Taken from Wheatland Road between Buchanan & Fincastle in Botetourt County, VA. Purgatory and the Blue Ridge Mountains in the distance. I have been wanting to capture a good shot of the beautiful rolling hills and pastures in this valley for some time, but never can seem to quite get the photo to look like it does in real life. The same holds true for this shot - it doesn't really do the vista justice.

Nice composition, I especially like the shadow/design on the right roof-tops but the colors don't seem natural, sky is over done.

A little oversharpened (diagonal lines show this pretty clearly). Nice colors and composition otherwise.

This really stands out with the chartreuse tones of the field against the blue mountains and gray clouds. Man - I want to go running into that photo.
