Maceo,

What a nice mulie. I haven't had a chance to get out of town lately. Beulah has had some nice snows lately. You did well as usual. Van

Good title! Lovely capture, and the snow on his head makes it unique.

the deer is beautiful and you have great timing

Less trees and more snow. The lighting in the trees draws the eye to the background.

i like the photo, but i find the border quite distracting - it crops the animal's leg too closely.

Beautiful capture, love the snow on his head, really tells the story and adds to the picture. IMO, the border doesn't add much, but I know that is a personal opinion and does not count against your choice to have one. Where the border crosses his back leg is a little distracting, my eyes just keep returning there however. I like the composition and the sunlight on the trees, the focus on the deer head appears just a tiny bit soft. Overall nicely done and good luck

Would have been much nicer without the frame.

The border ruins what is otherwise a nice photo.

The border distracts me from the deer, but a good image all the same...

i like the quality of the light - it would have been an even better shot had the deer been seperated more from the trees to emphasize his antlers and bring him into the frame more (which you probably tried to do but which is an extremely difficult task)

For me, I would like this even better without the border. Nice composition and great title - made me chuckle.

I really like this image, but the frame really detracts from it IMO.

EXCELLENT! Love the tonality but he has the proverbial "tree growing out of his head." Otherwise - bravo. 8

nice young buck, to me the border adds nothing and actually distracts a bit, otherwise nice photo

I'm not a big fan of the border overlaping the hindleg of the dear.

The picture itself is a very nice capture. You can tell it meets challenge standards because he was on his way out of there, meaning he's not used to human intrusion in his environment. Well done there.

I'm not a fan of the light from the sun hitting the trees in the top of the image, it's a bit distracting with how strong it is.

Very nice shot. I just wish the added framing was not cutting through the hind leg.

Looks pretty underexposed. Try cropping in tighter to the animal and adjusting your levels.

The border is distracting especially because it cuts through his leg.
