 Alfred Stieglitz (1864-1946) did a lot of work in his own backyard of NYC, so I photographed a favorite structure of mine that was built in his lifetime, the Brooklyn Bridge (completed 1883).

Trying to imitate some peripheral softness, low contrast and photogravure, I did a lot of messing around in photoshop. And for my first time here at DPC I actually added grain...

Great POV and use of desaturation here. The bridge is a bit dark underneath but that seems to be ok. Burn the clouds and bring out the shadows. I think this bridge will sing majestically ;)
