Jim, My guess was right. I spent a month in 82 counting hawks on the platform. So know your great town well. Want to come back some day. Great capture. I forgot there was water on that side of the lighthouse. Van

Simply gorgeous and it doesn't hurt that it's a lighthouse. There are lots of lights in this free study for some reason (mine isn't one, but was taken while shooting a lighthouse). But that actually helps you with me. All lighthouses get an extra point.

The colors of the sky and the reflection are just tremendous. It never looks this good when I go to Cape May. It's always cloudy.

I really love this composition. The only thing I think could be improved upon is the coloring. When I look at it, there is almost a light hazy sheen, but the entire image isn't washed out, because the red in the clouds is very vibrant. If you have Photoshop (or some similar editing program), I would try adjusting curves and reduce the noise. I think darks will be crisper, and all the colors in the sky more vibrant. The composition itself is just wonderful.

Beautiful! I love lighthouse shots and this is one of the best I have seen....you don't often see a reflection of the lighthouse.

This is a lovely shot, on my monitor it looks a little bit "milky" (blacks are more grey than black). I am sure a bit less exposure and more contrast would sort this out.

Lovely. I feel the rooftop(s) detract from the shot some but it is really beautiful.

Nice colors. I would like a little more contrast, but that's just me.
