| this is just "mavalus"-to me this is just perfection-gotta add this and you to my fav's.also i see that this did not get a one vote on it-did get a 2 and some 3 votes-i gave it a 10 -i don't understand the low votes i guess i am a long way off from an art critic-thanks again for sharing such a lovely view. |

VERY NICE!!! Wonderful color, lighting & DOF control. Only thing I see that detracts is the parting line on the vase. A few degrees' rotation (clockwise, of the vase, alone) would have solved this. Otherwise, SUPERB!

| I think that we have a winner. I really like the DoF, and the vibrant colors are very well done. The only things that might improve the image would be to change the light green blur in the lower right quadrant (by shifting the hue or desaturating it) and possibly adding a stronger reflection on the glass to add to the depth. This image is clearly worthy of being sold as stock at one of the higher-end agencies like Alamy. |

| Nice DoF... crisp image. I like you off center composition and having it face into, rather then out of, the frame. I love the color combination you chose. I am being distracted by the blurred elements in the background, however, and feel it keeps pulling my attention away from the subject. |

| We all get tired of the same flower shots, but this one stands out to me and seems unique. The use of primary colors, angled flower, shiny vase, and great use of the shallow dof all help to make this shot work really well. One of my top picks for this challenge. Well done! |
