Thanks everyone!

This was shot from the Klein Matterhorn, which is the highest (and coldest) location that you can pretty easily get to in Zermatt. It overlooks both Switzerland and Italy. The largest pyramid you see is the Matterhorn.

I was hiking around that day, shooting, but taking advantage of the cable cars to take me places.

Hue/Sat boost
Sharpen & Reduce
Gaussian Blur and Fade to 6% soften slightly

Phenominal shot. I wish I could have been standing there with you when you took it. I can almost smell the cold. Thanks you for what I hope will be a ribbon entry.

The jagged edges of the mountains make extraordinary shapes.

I like this shot, but I do not think the shape of the mountains is the most important aspect.

What a lovely vista. I wonder if you played with contrast, if it wouldn't have even more pow. I'm a big fan of really saturated colors and the blues could use a touch of that in my opinion. Makes me want to go put on my coat!!!

Maybe it's me but I am impressed with the shear fact you could even get this photo! Unless I am completely mistaken and this is a spot off a very cool parkway drive. One of my best.
