OMG .. and look at him now ... :)
crazy how long we've all been in dpc .. seeing babies grow into children .. children grow into adolescents .. adolescents into adults .. and adults into old geezers .. ;)

Awww...how special! I'm not overly fond of the angle here for some reason, but some shots are just beyond the technical aspects and this is certainly one of them. Lot's of love here. I have two girls, 13 years apart and there are definite benefits to having a younger child (including more time to save for college!)

Ohhhh.... this is so precious. Congrats. Don't worry about the age!! You'll love this one just as much as the other 4 and now that you're older you'll appreciate the things you may have taken for granted with the others.

beautiful photo here, Ken. Congrats on the 12th placement too.
Surely this photo holds a sentimental value to yourself, dont it?
I like the softness and the choice of B&W really makes this a great photo.

First of all, congrats. I sure there are many things left unstated in the title and this must be a very personal image for you. I like the narrow DOF, and I think the BW is appropriate and works well for the subject. Only thing which doesn't appeal to me is the sleeve?? in the lower left. But, Its not like you can command a baby to go to sleep and spend an hour taking pics. :) Perfect for the challenge.

Awesome shot. I flipped through all the entries during the challenge without voting & knew this was yours. I would've 10'd it, the focus & soft feeling are great.

Mom is now a professional! Congrats! Forgive me if I miss on this but your newborn looks like a handsome little man and a bundle of joy!

Technically speaking, the whites are a bit hot and the focus is soft, making the mood of the shot. I don't think the framing was necessary for such a tight crop.

I took a bunch of shots of my new nephew and felt like I was looking up his nose in every shot....this looks like one of mine! LOL!

very nice composition and meaningful in my opinion. One problem: eye is not in focus. If anything should be in focus in a photos it should be the eye. it looks like the focus plane is somewhere past the nose as you can see the hairs nice and sharp.
