Very simple and elegant minimialistic presentation with this composition. The balance of light and dark in both of these "forks" invokes the idea of the yin & Yang symbol. At times I can see the shapes of the forks here but the way that they join one can easily visualize a sharp tipped spoon - yet another utensil shape.

great photo. My only comment is the black fork is a dead on profile while you see more of the white fork, which throws off some of the symmetry. This may be what you intended so I may be wasting my breath.
