My space on earth where I can truely chill out and be at peace within myself. As the sun sets down over the bay of Makuhari the sky alights with an orange glow that captivates my soul and Mount Fuji, Fujisan, comes into view, a truely awsome sight to behold

It's certainly more conducive to peaceful thinking in the Far East and to appreciation of art and people. Beautiful work this one.

Ahhh I love Fuji-san! The colors are fantastic and I tried to capture some images too but all for nought. :)

They are very nice around this time.. shot from Makuhari. I would like to see your shots also if you get time to load them up

I knew it was yours. The sunsets are great for viewing Fuji in December. I took some shots from the Shinkansen heading back to Utsunomiya around the same week you took this.

Tranquil indeed. The colors almost transcend this into a rich illustration rather than a photograph. Building edges look a bit oversharpened, but nicely done overall.

Slightly oversharpened (halo on the city profile) but apart from that a great shot. Love the warm feeling and the gradation of black to the 'bright' sky.

excepting the halo, this is a very strong image. With such colors it is best to avoid any sharpenning at all because no sharp defintion is required when an image is bathing is such lovely colors. Bumping up.

Here's a border that works perfectly to enhance the image.

w00t! it's me!

Lovely sunset tones and silhouette. It's a beautiful piece. My only criticism is that it really lacks a central focal point. I don't know if it is the mountain or the cranes or what. Just some criticism.

A great capture nonetheless. and i actually think the border is conservative and rather fitting.
