| Interesting view. I like the DOF in this - it definitely used to enhance the image. However, the background is a bit bland. |

| Your picture and mine have similar compositional problems: the focal plane is too low in the frame. It's a tough problem to deal with when using a shallow DOF; in this case, the obvious and necessary focal plane is on the white knobs, and in order to raise them in the frame, you'd have to change your angle so much that the picture wouldn't be the same at all. I ran into those same issues. |
