I was looking through all the 10's I've given and noticed I didnt comment on this one.
This picture is awesome. Just looking up there would be terrifying for any one with this phobia and you capture it very well.
The focus is perfect and the dark luring shadows in this dim forest are fantastic. |

| I take this shot all the time, can't help myself. It never comes out like this though! Wonderful detail and the coloration chosen was perfect for the challenge. |

| Yes it is great to see your images in the top ten! Congrats Wil! Love the colour and composition. As others mentioned the decision to keep the trees dark added to the eerie-ness. The branches seem to go on for ever and ever. |

8 - Nice shot, perspective and toning. Criticism; difficult given the toning, but perhaps being able to see a bit of detail in the bark, etc - not sure though, as the silhouette effect is good. Perhaps wider may have given it a little extra, especially at this size and also for the 'phobia' effect. Up to 8 from 7. edit:changed 7 to 8 at the beginning of comment

| Very nice shot. This one would most definately scare someone who was afraid of trees. This is one of the better ones I've seen in the challenge. |
