Playing around with liquids and reflective surfaces I got this idea.
The 'clock' is a droplet of water on a glass plate above a polarizing fim. The 7-segment display was projected using a cardboard cutout backlit by two reading lamps.
VERY difficult to keep this setup clean.
Edits : dust&scratches, denoise, usm, hue&sat, crop.

simplicity is always a great choice. very good job making this simple image very interesting. it reminds me of those nights a cold wont let you sleep and the only remedy is a NyQuil..

i really hope this does well--it's one of my favorites in the challenge. i'll be this would look good in a series of similar images with complimentary colors. and i do hope you'll post up some notes about how you shot it. good luck!

It's too straightforward and sleek/sleazy for my liking. It's blank art. But it does look sharp. I think it merits a three because I am a terrible person.
