Figurines have never been real popular on DPC but it "is" a Holiday Catalog contest so we'll see. I gave up trying to guess what the score will be.
I spent way too much time on this shot. Started last night with an outdoor scene in the snow. Kind of looked like it would have fit in the tacky decorations challenge so I decided on an indoor shot.

Thanks so much for all the comments and votes.
What a nice surprise. Picked as a favorite. Thank you!

I love bears and think this would be perfect for a catalog selling figurines. Bumping you up in Christmas cheer - 9

Excellent composition. Great execution but to my eye the gold seems a bit oversaturated to the point of unnatural. Still a very good entry.

Very nice set up. Love the tree in the back. Overall lighting very nice. Two things I might suggest...the angle of the shot seems slightly low, like we're looking upwards. Perhaps just a bit higher and straight on. The other is that the border might work better if there was more room around the shot but as it is, I'd prefer just the solid line so that it doesn't cut into the figurines.

Nice set up. I could picture this in a catalog.

Think you did a really nice job with this. Might have left a bit more space around the edges so as not to crowd the subjects but otherwise this really works... well done. 7

This looks just like a picture from a catalogue to me. You did well to keep all the detail in the white. So Good Luck.

Not a fan of the border / vignette, but otherwise great job!

This is nicely presented. Not crazy about the pine cone in the lower right, but that's being nit picky. The detail is good which can be hard with white bisque porcelain. I like the blurred lights in the background too. IT doesn't have a true catalog feel to me, but more like a nice display in a little specialty shop.
