Great strong curving lines of composition and I love the warm tones of the backlit water, but the foreground is a hair on the dark side. Still, I scored this a 7 during the challenge - it is an amazing capture. Love the spray and don't even mind the slightly OOF.

This is a very nice shot. Just an opinion but it would be textbook perfect if the whole slpash were in view and the surfer were a little brighter and in sharper focus. This is one of those shots where you want people to feel the water.

Excellent use of a backlight situation. You captured the action of the moment well. Your crop is too tight though, I'd have liked to see all of the splashed water. 7.

I don't usually care for sport/action shots, but the lighting of the water in this one really makes it interesting

Certainly makes me envious, I'm walking around in 6 inches of snow. Great timing on this shot ! The sunlight hitting spray is excellent. Very very little blurring in spray Overall an excellent submission Good luck !!

Nicely silhouetted, the sunlight is hitting the water just right.
