I love the spotlight, that we can only see all of her (head, shoulders, etc) in the shadow on the wall, its wild. That is such a fabulous shadow!! The grain is perfect.

Pretty nice but what ever you did (editing) has left a weird "halo" around the girl and the chair. Also I think less grainy would be better. The black and white is great however and the shadow is also.

Just a shadow of her former self.

Interesting effect, is it posterized?I like the shadow showing her head and the anonymity of cutting of her head

A lot of shots in this challenge suffered from bad cropping but yours doesn't! I like the shadow and the grainieness of this one. One of my favorites so far.

I like this pose, tone and theme but not so crazy about the head-chop. BTW did you use slow synch flash? - 7

I think it´s a bit overprocessing... I think if you use neat image or another soft, you can improve your image.

Grain and shadow make this shot very fun. 9

I really wish it weren't so grainy. This could easily be a 9 from me; but all those speckles all over it are distracting. :-/ Still, 8 on concept, composition, abstract shape, and lovely shadow work.

Fun and lovely shot. The high contrast and grainy texture work well.

I like the 'Pin-up' effect you have created with this shot. Nice job!

One of the better ones. I gave this an eight...the models face in shadow did not seem quite right

Its very grainy, but i suppose that was the effect you were going for, and it does work very well. Its a solid photo technically, but I think the composition is just great. The lighting and shadows are wonderful. The crop along the top sort of bothers me, since you can't see her head, but I think the fact that you can see her head in the shadow makes up for it. good job.

Wow. Totally wonderful composition, black and white is the perfect choice and I like the grain here, too. Kind of adds to the gritty nightlife feeling. One of my favorites so far.

A nice shot, but the shadows are rather confusing and the shadow does not quite seem to fit with the image itself. Very odd. Also a little too much noise and a little too burnt out for my taste. (4)

Excellent capture, perfect lighting and the cropping is original. This is very good. The graininess does wonders - 10.

I don't like the extreme grainy look, personally.

Love the image. Great shadow. I feel that it needs the models head however to make it better. Or, no model whatsoever and just the shadow from a different angle. Very good. 8 Morgan
