Shot in a butterfly conservatory. For those who haven't gone, you should, it is a photographers dream. This shot was taken with a newly purchased Nikon 6 T close up lens. Focal length was at 6mm. I couldn't use a tripod in the conservatory. There were many shots that could have been used for this challenge. As a matter of fact I settled for this shot at 11:45 pm. Hope you liked it as much as I do.

Pretty. I find the light background distracting me away from th butterfly. Good closeup otherwise.

7 - Good. Criticism; title too lengthy, plus you haven't captured the coloring mentioned so, selling your shot short in a sense. Difficult, but would like to see it sharper and perhaps a touch more contrast. A slightly different crop/composition may also have made this better in my opinion. Good meeting of the Challenge and camouflage capture.

i wish there were more leaves like his wings in the backround, it better show his blending ability. also it looks a touch soft.

well done, only small (very small) distraction for me is the way the bright light shines through, hard to do much about I know, loved it overall

What a pretty picture - it suits the challenge perfectly! I think the composition would be stronger if you had rotated and then cropped so the the back edge of the wings made a diagonal across the picture with the tips of the wings on either third.

Very interesting butterfly, you must of really been looking to find it. The backlighting on this is a little harsh and distracting.
