Very nice and creepy, excellent job in the tecnical end as well! A friend of mine is the actual actress who plays "Samara" in The Ring 2. She was the stunt double in the original. She's a beautiful lady, 3 hours of makeup everyday to cover it up! I'll have to send her a link to this, she'd really get a kick out of it.

11/05/2005 12:15:47 AM
Very well done. I like the lighting a lot, especially on the model's right hand and left arm. Like the light is natural light coming through a window, with a tree blocking some of it...

Add in the model's haunting face and you've got a winner. Good job.
  Photographer found comment helpful.
11/04/2005 07:40:57 PM
The hands and especially the left (for me) arm look weird. Alignment is perfect. Colors in your screen look better than the ones outside it.

The mood is rahter dark. It might fit the idea but I am unsure about it. 7 for now.

10/31/2005 07:46:59 PM
Been done before, of course, but this is well executed. Was Samara the name of the girl in The Ring? Man that movie creeped me out. Your attempt at looking like her (if this is indeed what you're going for) was great too. The only criticism is the background. Why did you pick the stairs? They don't add to the atmosphere. 7
  Photographer found comment helpful.
10/31/2005 05:54:21 PM
I like this idea. It looks great. The only thing I would change is the dead space at top. Maybe center more on the laptop screen. 8

wow. creepiness. Tthe colours of the place for some reason make me think of a church, which makes it doubly so. I don't know if it was possible with the pic, but personally I would have liked to see a bit lower of a crop (more desk/computer), as I think the top third of the image is a bit distracting rather than aiding the overall picture.
