This is an Outstanding picture. The child is very expressive and shows he's a little rebellion. Also, as Car54 said, perfect grain. CONGRADULATIONS on all of your hard work!

All three of my top choices made ribbons this time. My eye must be getting better. Amazing how this entry looks so natural with grain. You know you have a winner when you don't even question what it will look like without grain. Congrats and Enjoy! Well Won.

Congratulations on your ribbon, this is what I imagined grain to look like when the challenge was announced. It looks like a stipple drawing, just beautiful!

I'm glad this ribboned. Wonderful shot that says so much and isn't as gimicky with the processing as the rest of the high scoring photos, mine included.

What a toughy! Love this image! The expression on this boy's face is perfect! All the elements that make this a true portrait are there from the blurred background to the tatooed musular arm with the rolled up sleeve! Only quibble, I'd like to see a little more detail in that near shirt sleeve. One of my top pics for the challenge!

Grain here only enhances the mood I assume you were trying to convey, that of a young rebel, well done.

GREAT use of grain to enhance this image... gives it a sort of dirty, grungy feel that adds to the rebel you are saying he is in the title. I like this a lot... and I can see it maybe from the 60's or 70' in terms of film and image styles. -10-
