You're new here aren't you. My guess is photogoo, but I may be wrong. Great picture. I think it would be a little more effective if the face was more in focus than the hair, but it's still a great shot.

The curls are killer, you can almost touch them in this shot. The exposure on the face is just a little too hot, but I do like the tight crop you have chosen, nicely done.

I'm in two minds about this one. At first I just thought there was too much light on your face, but then on closer inspection, it appears you've actually whitened it (with makeup?) as the skin on your arms and eyelid aren't showing this whiteness. Because of this, the photo appears a bit odd, although it does give focus to your eyes nose and mouth (so that part of it works well). The lighting on the hair is also great and I find that if I hide the part of the photo just below the chin, that this works much better for me. I've given you good marks though as it's something different and you've obviously gone to a lot of trouble to set this up

Great capture of the ringlets! Face is a bit over-exposed.

Nice photo, well lit, good detail. The top of your forhead is blown out on my monitor but since every comment I get for my photos says "a little to dark" I bet its just me. I gave it an 8

I like the photo a lot : the soft curls, soft shadows, and soft lighting work well together. I think the border is a little overbearing though.

A very sensual, moody shot. Great lighting and tones. The subject matter's not bad either!

it'd be nice to see more of you (in ref to your title) :)

harsh lighting on your face - hot spots and shadows can hide both good and bad things. the brightness takes away some of the definition in your lips, and (i think) what would be gorgeous freckles. in my top 10 either way.

Incredible lighting.... Love it the hair is amazing in this shot.... GREAT JOB. The border is bad however. Great shots like this, but borders that take away from the shot. :(

This is a really warm and appealing shot! I adore the detail and shine on your curls, but wish more of that detail were available on your face. Looks like you have freckles; I would love to see more visible freckles! :-)

I think the intense lighting matches the intense expression on this gorgeous model. The hair and expression get the attention here. Nicely done.

A self-portrait shows how you want to be percieved by others. This duotone is creative and interestingly composed. You purposely overexposed your face but give proper contrast to your hair. It makes the viewer curious about who you really are.

Good detail and DOF. I think the face comes up too light which blocks detail but it's still a very good job.

I think a portrait should reveal some character, or emotion of the model, by showing expression in eyes or other facial features. Did your picture accomplish that? Yes it does.

artistic/creativity? Interesting composition.

Technical? fine

Overall? this is a good one.

I like the way the lighting highlights your hair.

wow.. =) lovely eyes.. =) a suggestion.. your hair is very distracting.. you need the light in your face, not in your hair.. change the background, or made a blurry efect in background.. your expression is so cute.. congratulations.. you should try this shot again.. =)

The only thing about this photo is the whiteness of the border in the top right hand corner competes against the white in the face. Other than that wonderful! - 9.
