 With both the sun and my batteries dieing, I had little time to take the shot. I do hope you like it, as I am sure that every other person who lives within 50 miles of a lake will submit a shot perticularly simmular to it. : )

Technical: I rotated, cropped, adjusted the levels, Hue/sat, and unsharp mask.

love the colors of the leaves and how the color fades out...very nice...gotta love minnesota in the fall

Great photo, excellent colors and strong composition. Only nitpick is the leaves in the upper right. Keep up the good work!

I know you couldn't expose for sky, but you could've cut it out of the frame.
But It doesn't ruin this shot alot. Colorfull trees are nice.

I really like the B&W turning into color trees and reflection and am glad you left sky white.
I think shooting at a lower to the ground level may have worked a bit better and perhaps without the bench. Otherwise this is an excellent idea. "8"

very nice colors on the trees, but the sky looks a bit blown out.. i'm not a big fan of selective saturation.

too bad the sky's white - maybe you could have cropped down to eliminate it 'cause I really like the rest!!

I really like this... yoru eye is drawn by the colors... and then it takes you a moment to see just how high the water level is... nice shot.

Nice picture. I think it might score better without the bench (i.e., just the colorful trees reflection in the water).

Great composition and exposure on this shot. You've really captured the fall colors well and the sinking dock really helps to emphasize the reflectiveness of the water.

The elements are great in this pic but the tones distracts me quite lot. A dock seem to be black and white and the pictoresque trees behind over saturated. Someone to sit on bench and re-adjustment to the colours and this would be ready to put to the wall.

beautiful composition but i personally don't like the desat. I would prefer it with the foreground eitherin ful colour or possibly a cool brown/sepia tone
