Wow, I know I have to leave a critique of one of your photos because France tied Korea, but I actually want to leave a message for this one. I think this is one of the most incredible landscape photos I have ever seen. The location seems like it would be rather boring, but with color and post processing, you have made it extremely interesting. The reflection of the mountains is perfect. I love the fact that grassy area is somewhat dark and the shadows of the rocks expresses their edginess perfectly. Well, not much of a "critique" but wanted you to know that.

Thanks for the kind comments. This is across the lake from my "Wide Angle" shot. Such a beautiful morning it was. Van

Good picture,...could have been better if you move foward few steps and sit down...the brown line between the mountains and the lake would be reduced

Starting from the top there is a lot of ultra-nice stuff going on within this frame ... and then we reach the near shore curve of the lake and "too much stuff" begins. You were perfect until landing on all the broken rocks, which pulls everything that was Heavenly about this composition down to earth. 8

8 - This is very nice, think I said 'wow' when I first viewed it. Beautiful scene. Criticism; apologies in advance if I am wrong, but I would love to have seen the reflection sharper (the focus?) in this shot. The water/ice(?) is so 'glass' like, that it just seems even more potential in this shot. The rocks at the fore are a nice effect/contrast, just unsure on if they 'dominate'/detract from this shots potential.

Well done. To me the adding of the rocks in the image just this photo alot of good.

I love long-exposure water photographs. I need to try that at my next opportunity. I like how this isn't just water and background...that there is green cutting away at the reflection. Makes you appreciate it all the more.

This is spectacular! The rocks in the fore-front are so sharp. I am giving a nine but only because the reflection is a little blurry, I'm sure that's caused by the distance of the mountains, not the photographer :)

Beautiful reflection, the water looks like it's made of glass! Nice work.

Great photo, love the open plains leading to the mountains and the detail in the snow covered caps. 9

Beautiful shot. The forground is a little distracting to me but beautiful none the less.

IMO the foreground breaks the spell of the mountains and relflection.

the rocks in the fore ground look a bit over processed, but otherwise a very nice shot
