A tough challenge. I tried to find natural instances of personification, with no luck. But, during a trip to the market....

.. well enough said.

Toothpicks hold the various bits together, a softbox lighted the way, mirror for balanced light, checked levels, contrast and bumped orange and there we go.

The left is a red bell pepper, carrot foilage wrap, cheyote head (mexican squash), star anise eye in bell pepper lashes. Right is eggplant with pell pepper lips and nose, and scotch bonnet eyes. :)

Cheesy, but cute! The one on the left reminds me of Kermit the frog...sort of... Anyone for a bit of Veggie Tales? Seems a bit tilted and the texture of the backgound is a wee bit distracting (if it was mine, I'd want to straighten it up and blow out the background to pure white in editing)~

Too cute! The background is a bit bright but it really brings out the eggplant. Very creative! ....And healthy!

This one broke me right up!! GReat idea and well photographed. The puckered mouth still has me chuckling. A bit too much light on the one orange pepper, but now I'm being picky "10"

Great mouth on the left. It would look great alone on a vviid background.

Very cute, very creative. Lighting okay but makes the image a little flat. Wish they had feet. Fits the challenge, but not in a way that makes me go 'wow' or laugh.

Kermit is getting old! I think you've managed to gather the grossest veggies on earth but managed to make them sing together. Love it.

Nice colors and stuff. I hesitate to give high scores to something that you had to manipulate to make look human though. 5?

very nice arrangement, i especially like the (cilantro?) scarf on the guy on the left. Perhaps i would have experimented with different background colors to see if they could have been more dynamic than plain white...
